The tool available at this website provides you with interactive access to data. We call this reporting tool Reductions™ (short for 'Web Reductions'). The goal of Reductions™ is to provide you with an affordable and easy-to-use tool that will help you mine your z/OS SMF to allow you to gain insights in the performance of your z/OS systems, sysplexes, and workloads.

Current access to this tool is provided to z/OS performance analysts, capacity planners, and system programmers as follows:

• On a subscription basis to allow for regular analysis of z/OS performance data.
• To customers of our z/OS performance Health Check® services to allow for post project analysis and recommendation follow-up. Reductions™ allows our customers to better understand our analysis conclusions, and to see the many reports we studied.
• To students of our classes to allow them to further analyze their own data as was discussed in class.
• To potential customers wishing to evalute the benefit and power of this z/OS performance data mining Reductions™ tool.

We model our z/OS Health Check® services and our z/OS performance seminars after the services that medical doctors provide. The difference is that our patients are your z/OS systems, Sysplexes, DASD I/O subsystems, transaction managers, database managers, and a whole host of other z/OS related areas critical to the performance of your enterprises. Reductions™ is one of the diagnostic tools we use, and also a tool you can use back in your office to continue to evalute your z/OS performance data in a cost effective manner.
